Leadership appointments at Tirlán
On 19 January 2024, Tirlán Co-operative announced that Jim Bergin would retire as Chief Executive on 30 July.
Seán Molloy, Chief Ingredients & Agri Officer, was appointed as Chief Executive Designate and will assume the CEO role on 1 August.
On Friday 14 June, Seán Molloy made the following announcements regarding the leadership of the organisation:
Jim O’Neill, Chief Operating & Consumer Officer, will be appointed to the Tirlán Board, effective from 1 August 2024;
In addition:
Aoife Murphy – currently Director Ingredients - will be appointed to the role of Chief Ingredients Officer and join the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) with responsibility for her existing brief relating to the development and delivery of the Ingredients Growth strategy;
Ailish Byrne – currently Director of Agribusiness - will join the ELT in the role of Chief Agri Officer, retaining responsibility for her existing brief. This will include the ongoing development of the Agri function, ensuring Tirlán continues to offer top-class products and services to our customers and Co-op members.
